I photographed Danny St Pierre's first recipe book, partly in a makeshift studio in his dining room and partly at his restaurant, Auguste, in Sherbrooke. Needless to say, all dishes were sampled and all leftovers well taken care of by myself and Maxyme. This is quite a departure from my usual way of shooting and I found myself enjoying the studio environment, it seemed to seduce the OCD control-freak side of my brain. Nonetheless, we did keep the shots a little messy, just to keep it real.
